The place where the website is physically located is called hosting. A collection of linked webpages is only legally referred to as a website when it is hosted on the webserver. When users enter the website's address onto their computers, a series of files known as the webserver is sent to those machines. A website's address is referred to as its URL.
When a user wants to open a website, they must enter the address or URL of the website into the web browser, and the requested website is supplied by the webserver. To begin with, a website is composed of a collection of code or computer languages. Most websites nowadays, how ever, are constructed with CMS software such as WordPress, Joomla, or even completely hosted website builders such as Wix or Jimdo.
